EVERY PERSON

at every

and gender

Our Vision

We are passionate about whole person wellness - from the bodies we live in to the emotions that propel us.

We are on a quest to help people understand themselves, then improve themselves.

What would happen if people truly understood how their brain, that mysterious internal pilot, responded to the choices made in everyday life?

That is what we want the world to know:  how your choices impact your brain.  And thus, your life.

We are so excited to be on this journey.

We hope you join us.

Our Story

mind matter project is a making-lemonade-out-of-lemons story.  Co-Founder, Carrie Nedrow met Dr. Alexandra Rudd-Barnard about one year after a traumatic brain injury.

Carrie sought cognitive testing as she was not recovering from the head injury.  Her symptoms made it impossible for her to work or concentrate, and when she was tired, interacting and speech was difficult.

After extensive testing, Dr. Rudd-Barnard began a treatment plan that included neurofeedback.

And the results were a-ma-zing.

Within a few months, Carrie was heading back to her former self, which was a huge relief to her and her husband.

After the first few weeks of treatment, Carrie and Dr. Rudd-Barnard started having conversations about how to make neurofeedback accessible to more people.

But how would people know that it was effective?

Enter the quantitative electroencelophograph (QEEG).

The two women started researching QEEG and realized this relatively simple test provides incredible insights into behavioral, emotional, and physical information.

mind matter project was born.

The QEEG is not a miracle test.  And it is not approved by most insurance and health organizations as a diagnostic tool.  But in the hands of a trained professional, it has a lot to offer.

Your brain is the one organ you cannot live without or replace.

Most people know nothing about their brain, what makes it unique, or how it reacts to simple life choices.

Now you can get to know yourself.
